Could be the anal glands. Is she spinning or just dragging?

it could be several things. she may have acquired worms while she was away, it could be her anal glands too. its unlikely, but she could have also been exposed to something thats causing a skin allergy. the last option is unlikely since she's not scratching her face or anywhere else. is she dragging her butt or sitting down and twirling like she's chasing her tail? when Mimi needs her glands expressed she twirls. first, i would give her one 25mg tablet (NOT GELCAP) of benedryl. that should help with the itching. also, you need to look at her poop. if you see obvious worms/pieces of worms theres your answer. if not, you should take her to your vet and get her glands expressed. a groomer can do this externally, but it sounds like you've never had it done before. because of this, a vet should do it the very first time internally to make sure neither of the glands are impacted

also, how is the suspected kennel cough?

She is just dragging her butt.. the first day I got her back I noticed she was dragging, then I took her an immediate bath and scrubbed her down there and I didnt see her do it again... until today when she pooped outside she dragged her butt again.. but Ive seen her poop several times before after the bath and no drag, but today she did it... what do ya'll think?

No I have not had her glands expressed, but I will have a vet take a look... Her poop does not have worms I have double checked so Im guessing it is the glands.   (kennel cough) And she still does a snorting sound like if she is scratching her throat and coughs at times but I was going to wait till next week for a vet visit hoping it would go away, she has been babied this whole time.. but noticing her scratching on the grass I will have to go.. but she is not constantly dragging either this is a first time I've seen her do it since last friday.

Some types of worms can't be seen except under a microscope. If you are taking her to the vet, they will probably do a fecal sample too, and check for worms with their microscope.

Sometimes Zoe spins around ... what does it mean?
We just laugh at her because after she does it she smells that area!

i guess all dogs react differently, sometimes Jack really stinks when his glands need to be expressed, but he never spins or drags or anything to that description!
he just lays in his bed looking thoroughly miserable, almost like hes embarrassed!!
